And the fourteenth recipient is…
The Board of the Foundation Transfusion Medicine proudly announces the fourteenth recipient of the ISBT Presidential Award.
The Award will be granted to Prof. Martin L. Olsson from Sweden.
The ISBT Presidential Award will be presented to prof. Olsson on June 22, 2026, during a special symposium at the 39th International Congress of the ISBT which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

And the thirteenth recipient is…
The Board of the Foundation Transfusion Medicine proudly announces the thirteenth recipient of the ISBT Presidential Award.
The Award will be granted to Prof Thierry Burnouf from France. Prof Burnouf presently works in Taipei, Taiwan.
The ISBT Presidential Award was presented to prof Burnouf on June 25, 2024, during the 38th International Congress of the ISBT which was held in Barcelona, Spain. Some three thousand participants of the Congress joined the Award presentation session.
